Availability mismatch: feed vs page

What Google's message means

The availability you send (in stock / out of stock / preorder / backorder) differs from what Google read on the product page.

Google will not send shoppers to a product it believes is sold out — or list one as in stock that isn't — so the product is disapproved until the values agree.

The fix in Shopify

  1. Products → the product → each variant → Inventory: quantity matches what you can ship, and ‘Continue selling when out of stock’ is ticked only if you really take orders for it. Save.
  2. If a ‘back in stock’ or pre-order app changes the buy button, the variant's Inventory must say the same: out of stock at 0 unless pre-orders are on.
  3. Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.

The fix in WooCommerce

  1. Products → the product → Product data → Inventory: Stock status (In stock / Out of stock / On backorder) — or Manage stock with the real quantity. Update.
  2. Clear the page cache after stock or price changes (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache → Purge all), or Google reads an old copy of the page.
  3. Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.

What it costs while it's down

Every product Google flags this way is out of Google Shopping — no ads, no free listing — until it's fixed. Its listed price is what isn't being shown; a free scan names each product and adds up the listed value at stake.

Enter your store's domain. The scan reads your public catalogue the way Googlebot does, names every product behind each leak and shows the listed value affected.
