Low image quality

What Google's message means

Google found the main image blurry, pixelated or low-resolution. From 31 January 2027 every product image must be at least 500 × 500 px.

The product still serves today; from 31 January 2027 images under 500 × 500 px won't be accepted.

The fix in Shopify

  1. Products → the product → Media: upload a sharp photo at least 500 × 500 px (800 × 800 px or more is better), in focus, not upscaled, and drag it first. Save.
  2. Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.

The fix in WooCommerce

  1. Products → the product → Product image → Set product image: upload a sharp photo at least 500 × 500 px (800 × 800 px or more is better), in focus, not upscaled. Update.
  2. Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.

What it costs while it's down

Nothing is out of Shopping today: the product still serves. If Google can no longer correct it, the listed price of every product flagged this way drops out until it's fixed; a free scan names each one.

Enter your store's domain. The scan reads your public catalogue the way Googlebot does, names every product behind each leak and shows the listed value affected.
