Price mismatch between feed and page
What Google's message means
The price (or sale_price) you send differs from the price Google read on the product page. Google compares the feed against the page's visible price and its structured data on every crawl.
A price that could mislead a shopper is a policy matter, so the product is disapproved until the two agree — no ads, no free listing. The usual cause is a page showing a sale price while the feed still sends the regular price, or a feed that refreshes too slowly.
The fix in Shopify
- Products → the product → each variant → Price = what the shopper pays; Compare-at price = the crossed-out price, only while a discount runs. Save.
- Settings → Markets → the market for Google's country → Products and pricing: if a price adjustment or rounding is on, the page shows that adjusted price — the Google & YouTube app sends it too only when the market is selected in the app (Google & YouTube → Settings → Markets).
- Remove any app or theme script that changes the shown price after the page loads (currency converters, ‘sale’ timers); Google reads the price in the page's HTML.
- Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.
The fix in WooCommerce
- Products → the product → Product data → General: Regular price = the normal price; Sale price = the discounted price, with Schedule dates if the sale ends. Update. For a variable product, set them on each variation.
- WooCommerce → Settings → Tax → ‘Display prices in the shop’: for a US feed prices go to Google without tax; elsewhere with tax. The page and the feed must show the same figure.
- Turn off currency-switcher or dynamic-pricing rules for Google's country, or make the plugin send the same converted price; Google compares against what the page shows.
- Clear the page cache after stock or price changes (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache → Purge all), or Google reads an old copy of the page.
- Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.
What it costs while it's down
Every product Google flags this way is out of Google Shopping — no ads, no free listing — until it's fixed. Its listed price is what isn't being shown; a free scan names each product and adds up the listed value at stake.
