Strikethrough price updated
What Google's message means
The crossed-out price on the product page differs from the price in your feed. Google compares the crossed-out price with price and has corrected it, because automatic item updates are on.
The product still serves; Google's correction lasts only until the next feed update, so the mismatch comes back.
The fix in Shopify
- Products → the product → each variant → Pricing: Compare-at price = the crossed-out price the page shows, Price = what the shopper pays. The app sends them as
priceandsale_price. Save. - The theme must print the crossed-out price in the page's HTML, not add it with a script after the page loads.
- Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.
The fix in WooCommerce
- Products → the product → Product data → General: Regular price = the crossed-out price the page shows, Sale price = what the shopper pays. Update.
- A badge or ‘was’ price from a discount plugin that isn't in Regular price never reaches the feed: put it in Regular price / Sale price instead.
- Google re-checks the product at its next crawl (usually within a day); the next RevenueCue scan confirms it's clear.
What it costs while it's down
Nothing is out of Shopping today: the product still serves. If Google can no longer correct it, the listed price of every product flagged this way drops out until it's fixed; a free scan names each one.
